Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aulra Tech Solutions LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Aulra," "we," "us"), and govern your use of the Aulra Voice website at aulravoice.com, the listener pages at listen.aulravoice.com, and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account, starting a broadcast, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organization.
1. What the Service does
Aulra Voice provides live, machine-generated translation of a single speaker's voice for events such as talks, workshops, conferences, classes and worship services. An operator captures the speaker's voice in the Aulra console; the Service transcribes, translates and synthesizes speech; listeners hear the translation on their own devices through a link or QR code.
- Source language at launch: Portuguese. Target languages: English and Spanish.
- Translations are produced automatically by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or interrupted. The Service is not a substitute for a certified or human interpreter and must not be relied on where an error could cause harm, including medical, legal, safety, emergency or contractual communication.
2. Accounts and roles
- Organization accounts. An organization ("Customer") signs up with a name, an email address and a password, confirms its email and enables two-factor authentication.
- Account owner. The person who creates the account is the account owner. The owner manages the plan, payment method, spending limit, team and settings.
- Operators. The owner may invite operators by email. Each operator has their own login and two-factor authentication and may only operate the console. The owner is responsible for everyone it invites.
- Listeners do not create accounts and do not pay. The Customer is responsible for how it shares its listener link.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or be an operator.
- Keep your credentials, authenticator and recovery codes secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Free trial
Each organization receives a one-time free trial of 30 language-minutes (for example, 30 minutes translated into one language, or 15 minutes of an event translated into English and Spanish). When the trial runs out, any broadcast in progress ends and new broadcasts are paused until you subscribe and add credits. The trial does not renew. One trial per organization and per payment card; we may withhold or revoke a trial we reasonably believe is being abused.
4. Subscription, credits and billing
- Prices. Unless a different price is shown to you at checkout: - Subscription: US$ 14.90 per month; and - Translation credits, bought in advance: 5 language-hours for US$ 27.00, 10 language-hours for US$ 51.30, or 25 language-hours for US$ 121.50. One language-hour is one hour of broadcast translated into one language. Each target language counts separately: a 1-hour event translated into English and Spanish uses 2 language-hours. Credits are used in seconds of translation per language
- Billing. The subscription fee is charged when you subscribe and at the start of each monthly billing period. Credits are charged when you buy them. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for all amounts due
- Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's terms.
- Card validation. We may validate your card when you sign up or start a trial. Validation is not a charge, although Stripe may place and release a temporary authorization.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, new broadcasts are paused immediately; a broadcast already in progress continues to its end. Stripe may retry the charge. If payment is not received after the retries, the subscription is canceled.
- Credits. Credits expire 12 months after purchase and are non-refundable. The oldest credits to expire are used first. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. You need at least 30 minutes of credits to start a broadcast, and a broadcast in progress ends when your credits run out.
- Automatic top-up. If you turn on automatic top-up, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for the pack you chose whenever your balance falls below 30 minutes, up to 4 times in 30 days. You can turn it off at any time in your dashboard. If a charge fails, automatic top-up is turned off and we notify you by email
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period after the notice. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
- Disputes. Contact us at [email protected] within 60 days of a charge you believe is wrong before disputing it with your bank.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time through the billing portal linked in your dashboard. Your subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid; unused credits remain subject to their expiration date but can only be used while you have an active subscription. Fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds, except where required by law. After cancellation you keep access to login, history and settings, and you may subscribe again (without a new free trial).
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, including ending a broadcast in progress, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or the law, created risk or harm to us, listeners or others, engaged in fraud or abuse of the trial, or if required by law. Suspension for misconduct is separate from paused broadcasting for non-payment. You may close your account by contacting [email protected]. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
7. Acceptable use
You will not, and will not allow others to:
- use the Service to broadcast content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence;
- broadcast or translate a person's speech without any consent or notice required by applicable law, including recording, eavesdropping and wiretap laws;
- use the Service for emergency, life-safety or medical communication where a translation error could cause harm;
- attempt to access other organizations' data, bypass limits, payment or security controls, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law;
- overload, probe or disrupt the Service, or use automated means to create accounts or obtain trials;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
8. Your content
"Customer Content" means the audio you send and the transcriptions, translations and synthesized audio generated from it. As between you and us, you own your Customer Content. You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content only to provide the Service. We do not record or store broadcast audio, transcripts or translations; they are processed in real time and discarded. Our AI service providers may process and briefly retain data under their own terms as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the speech you broadcast.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic), hosting and infrastructure providers, an email provider and Stripe. Their availability and changes may affect the Service. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, design and the Aulra name and logos. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Feedback you send may be used by us without obligation.
11. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Live sessions may end or need to be restarted for technical reasons, including provider session limits (for example, the console may ask the operator to start a new session after about one hour). We may change, add or remove features. Listening with a locked screen or with the browser in the background depends on the listener's device and browser and may not work on every device.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY OF TRANSLATIONS.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US$ 100 IF GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your broadcasts, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
15. Disputes, governing law and arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.
16. Availability by country
The Service is offered only to Customers in the United States at this time.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify account owners of material changes by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law or to address security. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
18. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement on this subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Notices to you go to the account owner's email.
